An entertaining and fun read

A fun and enjoyable read, Edward the Egg brings a smile to your face. The stories are highly descriptive, engaging the imagination. Simple and cute illustrations that can be coloured in accompany each story, with space to draw your own picture. I didn't realise that first that every story would essentially have a very similar ending, but the stories were still fun and convey that everything still works out OK and there are people to support you. This is an entertaining book for young minds.

Stories are cute but repetative

Overall the stories were cute and they teach kids to try new things but the stories are repetitive having the same general plot line each time. I like the extra pages for children to draw their on their own and some pages for coloring but the coloring pages are very basic drawings.

kind of strange

It's a kind of strange book. I liked that the egg wanted to try new things, which might encourage young children to try things that might scare them. But the egg ends up getting injured and repaired in each story. I think the author attempted to show kids that it is good to help others, but the stories are a little weird.

Good little adventure book for bedtime

I just read this to my daughter this evening and she loved it! It was fun reading about all the adventures Edward the Egg went on. I liked that it portrayed a fragile little character and made him determined to not let it get in the way of learning how to do BIG things!
